Project Description
This project provides multimodal connectivity along the entire corridor from South Adams Street to Apalachee Parkway. It is being constructed in phases and in coordination with utility improvements in the area. Construction began in summer 2021.

Project Status
- Invitation to Bid for Construction for Phase 2 occurred in Q4 2023, and the project received bids from prospective bidders in January 2024.
- The bid award will be presented to the Leon County Board of County Commissioners on Feb. 20, 2024 meeting. Construction is anticipated to begin in Q1 2024.
- RFQ for CEI services for Phase 2 was advertised in Q2 2023, and Rummel, Klepper, and Kahl (RK&K) were selected in Q3 2023.
- Phase 1 and 4 are complete.
- The design for Phase 2 (Pontiac to Diamond) is complete.
- Phase 3 (Diamond to Apalachee) is 90% complete, and right-of-way acquisition is ongoing.
