Funding from the one-cent sales tax is allocated among Blueprint, Leon County and the City of Tallahassee in a unique way. Because of this, and to contribute to and enhance the success of the Blueprint philosophy, the County and City commissions agreed to a joint management approach for implementation of Blueprint projects. The Intergovernmental Agency Board of Directors, comprised of the Leon County and City of Tallahassee commissions, oversees and guides Blueprint on implementing the entire program of work. Blueprint’s Intergovernmental Management Committee was established to jointly administer the program, recommend policy to the Agency and carry out its long-range direction. The Citizens Advisory Committee and Technical Coordination Committee make recommendations to the Agency; review work plans and audits; and provide professional advice and technical expertise, respectively.
